How to Get Your Hair to Grow Back

I have been lucky in the hair department but two pivotal events in my life made me question my relationship with my locks: the death of my Mother and my work wife's horrific car accident. Apparently grief makes me lose about 50% of my hair volume.

My Mom died on January 30th, 2017. By April, 2017 I was Googling wigs, hair vitamins and extensions. I also realised that what I had taken for granted and flaunted all my life was something to be incredibly grateful for and to be more carefully curated in the future. Here is a picture from that time, not only is my hair a shit show but I look so broken.

I came to the same conclusion with extensions. I also realised that many of those I envied for having kick ass hair have supplemented with extensions. The more you know.

So, I went back to drawing board. My hair had been great once and it could be great again. I need to figure out how to get my hair to regrow. I theorised it was partially an inside job coupled with easing up on the highlights that I had gotten for the past 30 years. I began to wonder what my real hair color actually looked like.
